Dr. Annie Leavitt, PT, DPT, CSCS, OCS (She/Her) is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at The Climb Clinic, specializing in climbing and running rehabilitation and performance. She works with athletes of all levels to recover from injury, build resilience, and perform with confidence, delivering individualized, sport-specific care grounded in evidence-based practice. Annie specializes in lower extremity rehabilitation including hips, knees, ankles, and toes, and works closely with runners to optimize performance, manage training load, and prevent injury. A high-level competitive runner who has competed in and placed in multiple trail races and ultramarathons, as well as a dedicated climber, Dr. Leavitt brings firsthand performance insight to her clinical practice, ensuring her care translates directly to real-world sport demands.

Dr. Christine Neal, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS (She/Her) is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at The Climb Clinic, specializing in rehabilitation and sports performance for climbers, ice climbers, skiers, and mountain athletes. She works with athletes ranging from novice to professional, delivering individualized, performance-driven care tailored to the unique demands of mountain sports. Christine has developed extensive experience treating youth climbing athletes, helping them build resilience and longevity early in their careers. She also specializes in the treatment of spine and nerve injuries, combining advanced clinical expertise with sport-specific insight to help athletes return to high-level performance safely and confidently.

Dr. Lily Swann, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

Dr. Lily Swann, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT (She/Her) is a climbing specialist at The Climb Clinic who works closely with boulderers and sport climbers. She specializes in climbing-specific rehabilitation and performance, with extensive training in manual therapy and advanced expertise in upper extremity injuries, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. One of the select Arc’teryx Climbing PTs , Dr. Swann works with high-level athletes in the sport. Climbing at an advanced level herself (5.13+/V10), she brings firsthand insight to her care, helping climbers recover efficiently, build durability, and return to peak performance.

Dr. Kevin Cowell, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, FAAOMPT

Dr. Kevin Cowell, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS (He/Him) is the Founder of The Climb Clinic and a nationally and internationally recognized leader in climbing rehabilitation and performance. With over 7+ years of climbing-specific rehab experience, he is trusted by elite/olympic and recreational climbers alike for his expertise in keeping athletes healthy and performing at their highest level. He is one of the select Arc’teryx Climbing PTs and serves as a USA Paraclimbing Team Physical Therapist, working with elite adaptive athletes at the highest level of the sport. A dedicated climber himself, Dr. Cowell climbs at a high level (5.14/V10), bringing firsthand performance insight into his clinical practice.
