CLIMBING-SPECIFIC

LOWER BODY INJURIES

COURSE 3 of 3 | CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OF THE ROCK CLIMBING ATHLETE

BUILT BY THE CLIMB CLINIC

Online, Self-Guided Continuing Education Course for Healthcare Professionals

Hip, knee, ankle, and foot injuries are common among climbers, yet most clinicians rely on generic lower-kinetic-chain protocols that don't account for the unique demands climbing places on the lower body. This course teaches you to evaluate and manage lower body injuries in climbers, spanning the lumbar spine, hip, knee, ankle, foot, and toes, with each module covering anatomy, clinical examination, rehabilitation strategies, and return-to-climbing guidance built specifically around the demands of climbing, offering 12 contact hours (1.2 CEUs). This online, self-guided course is designed for healthcare professionals who treat climbers, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and sports medicine physicians.
