𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗹 (PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS) this March for a special workshop on how the barbell bench press and barbell deadlift can be a game changer for your climbing training.
In this 𝟯-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰, we will be going into great detail on these two lifts, giving you all of the tools they need to know to either get started in your strength training journey, and help you improve and progress what you are already doing in the weight room. We are excited to teach you these skills in a safe and welcoming environment!
Learn the correct technique for the barbell bench press and barbell deadlift, in a safe and relaxed environment with friendly and highly qualified instructors
Learn variations of these barbell movements and when to use them
Learn how to progress or regress the movement as needed
Gain a greater understanding on why these movements are valuable for your climbing
Learn how to use the Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) Scale to determine your weight and intensity as a means to avoid overtraining and injury
Leave feeling comfortable and confident with setting up and performing each movement independently in the gym.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Karly Rager MS, CSCS
Karly is the founder and head coach of Project Direct Coaching. Since 2020, she has coached over 120 athletes from 20+ states and 6+ countries on strength training, climbing movement, and mental training for fear, stress, and performance. She is passionate about the role strength training plays in climbers' progression and injury prevention.
Dr. Christie Neal PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Christine is primarily a physical therapist and orthopedic specialist, but has 10+ years of experience as a strength and conditioning specialist and is passionate about teaching athletes the power of strength training! She specializes in working with climbers and runners and is an avid climber, runner, and snowboarder herself.
