PULL-UP AND BACK SQUAT CLINIC

Looking to take your strength training for climbing to the next level? Come join Project Direct Coaching Head Coach, Karly Rager (MS, CSCS) and Dr. Christine Neal (PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS) this October for a special workshop on how the barbell back squat and pull-ups can be a game changer for your climbing training.  

 

In this 3-hour group clinic, we will be digging deep into these movements and their variations, giving you the tools you need to get started in your strength training journey or to help you improve and progress what you are already doing in the weight room.

 

Objectives: 

  • Learn the correct technique for the barbell back squat and pull-ups, in a safe and relaxed environment with friendly and highly qualified instructors

  • Learn variations of these movements and when to use them

  • Learn how to progress or regress the movement as needed

  • Gain a greater understanding on why these movements are valuable for your climbing

  • Learn how to use the Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) Scale to determine your weight and intensity as a means to avoid overtraining and injury

  • Leave feeling comfortable and confident with setting up and performing each movement independently in the gym.
