Why should I come to The Climb Clinic? We pride ourselves on providing individualized care that takes you all the way from injury to high performance. We also prioritize keeping our clients doing the sports that they love, and do everything we can to keep you from being side lined. We focus on education so that you understand the why behind the exercises that we give you, and make sure you have a comprehensive email after you leave the clinic so that you can feel empowered to do these exercises independently between appointments.
-
What can I expect my initial appointment to look like? Each appointment will last up to one hour, where you will be 1-on-1 with your provider. Initial appointments typically consist of an in depth conversation where we get to know your injury history and goals for rehab, an objective assessment where we assess strength, range of motion, and run you through special tests as appropriate. We also use movement observation to guide our treatment - for example, if you get pain while doing a pull up, we will definitely observe you do a pull up! From there, we will develop an individualized plan for you - this could include some mobility exercises, strength exercises, warm up strategies, or swelling management strategies - or more likely, a combination of all of the above! And don’t worry - we will send you a personalized follow up email after the appointment outlining all of the strategies that we went over during the session.
-
Do I have to be a climber to come to The Climb Clinic?Definitely not! We treat all types of athletes.
